RILEY COUNTY — A Clay County woman was hospitalized after a wreck at an accident scene Saturday evening in Riley County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said a 2013 Jeep Wrangler was eastbound on U. S. 77 just west of Riley when it slowed for an accident scene. A 2014 Chevy Equinox driven by Elizabeth D. Elsasser, 26, Longford, rear-end the Jeep, the KHP reported.
Elsasser was transported to Clay County Medical Center for treatment of possible injuries. None of the four occupants of the Jeep were injured. All involved were properly restrained, the KHP said.
