MORRIS COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Manhattan man on multiple allegations after a weekend traffic stop.
Just after 11:30p.m. Feb. 24, a sheriff's deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Toyota Corolla for a traffic violation on U.S. Highway 77 and M Avenue, according to a media release.
Sheriff's K9 Kimber conducted a free air sniff of the vehicle and indicated to the oder of narcotics emitting from within the car.
After a probably cause search of the car, the deputy arrested 31-year-old Ryan C. Kelly of Manhattan on requested charges of possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while license canceled, suspended or revoked. He is being held in Chase County.
