FINNEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a fatal stabbing and have identified the victim as 58-year-old Robert Gallardo Molina of Garden City.
Just after 5:30.m. Thursday, police were dispatched to the 400 block of E. Santa Fe Street in Garden City for a reported stabbing, according to a media release.
First responders found Molina stabbed inside the residence where relatives lived, according to a social media report.
EMS transported Molina to St. Catherine Hospital, where he later died.
The initial investigation has determined Molina forced entry into the residence and was involved in an altercation with a man living there when Molina was stabbed.
Police have detained the individual. No arrest has been made.
