
SHELBY COUNTY —A former University of Kansas basketball player is in jail in Tennessee after a weekend arrest.
According to online jail records, 29-year-old Lagerald Vick is being held in the Shelby County Jail on $1,500,000.00 bond on requested charges of attempted first degree murder and using a firearm during the commission of a felony.
He is expected to make a court appearance on Monday according to online jail records.
Vick, 29, from Memphis played in 117 games for KU between 2015-19. He was named an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention selection after his junior season, according to his KU bio.
