Kan. ambulance driver injured in rollover accident

RENO COUNTY—An ambulance driver was injured in an accident just before 3:30p.m. Tuesday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2001 Ford ambulance driven by Regina Lynn Howard, 36, Meade, was eastbound on Kansas 96 just wet of Yoder Road in lane 2.  The vehicle traveled off the roadway to the left. The driver lost control, corrected back onto the road, then went back off the road to the left, struck a guardrail, overturned and came to rest in the median.

 Howard was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment of a minor injury. Two passengers were not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
