KANSAS CITY —A Kansas City man has been charged in the Nov. 21, , fatal shooting of a man in Kansas City, as well as the wounding of a woman, according to Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker.
Wayne A. Hunt, 44, faces Murder 2nd Degree, Assault in the 1st Degree and two counts of Armed Criminal Action charges.
According to court records, Kansas City police officers responded on Nov. 21, 2023 to a reported shooting. They found a female victim suffering from gunshot wounds and a second victim suffering from life threatening injuries. The wounded victim identified the defendant as the shooter.
