Sunflower Diversified Services is once again providing a special taxi service on New Year's Eve from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. During a traditional night for parties, some people may realize they need safe transportation.
Sunflower's Executive Director Jon Prescott said his organization will have employees on call that night.
“We are going to be here for New Year’s Eve. If they realize they have no business driving, just give us a call,” Prescott noted. “From there we will definitely come get them and take them home.”
Sunflower is asking for a minimum five-dollar donation to help pay for the costs. The taxi will not take individuals from one New Year's Eve party to another. It is only available to help people get home.
