SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities investigating a suspicious death have identified the victim as a 15-year-old boy from Topeka, according to Topeka P olice Captain Jerry Monasmith.
Just after 3p.m. Monday, police responded to a shooting in the 2400 Block of SE Bellview Avenue in Topeka. First responders found the boy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police released no additional details including the victim's name.
