Kansas State Representative Tory Arnberger-Blew has filed for re-election to represent State House District 112 which includes Great Bend and the northern part of Barton County. Her name will appear on the ballot this year as Tory Marie Blew following her marriage to Justin Blew in 2020.

She was first elected to the state legislature in 2016. Blew is campaigning on her support for 2nd Amendment rights, mental health reform, and limited government. If re-elected, she says she hopes to serve in the State House with Republican Attorney General Derek Schmidt in the governor's mansion.

“This past four years have been a different ballgame with Republicans being in charge of the House and the Senate but then having a Democratic governor,” Blew commented. “I think that if Derek Schmidt is elected, we’re going to have some great policies coming through with a Republican governor.”

Blew currently serves on the State House Federal and State Affairs Committee and was elected to a State House leadership position this year as Deputy Majority Whip for the 2022 legislative session.
