Deputies learn Kan. woman was wanted on a felony warrant

SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations after a traffic stop.

Just before 4a.m. September 10, 2026, a sheriff's deputy conducted a traffic stop on a gray 2004 Toyota passenger car near SE 6th Avenue and SE Jefferson Street, according to Shawnee County Deputy Abigail Christian.

During the traffic stop, it was discovered that the driver had a felony warrant for her arrest. The deputy also found illegal narcotics.

The driver, Shauna M. Greiner, 44, of Topeka, was arrested and booked into the Shawnee County Department  of Corrections on requested charges: that include Possession of an opiate, opium, narcotic or certain stimulant, Use/possess with intent to use drug paraphernalia into human body and Driving while license suspended.
