KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating circumstances related to body found in a field.
Just after 11a.m. Saturday, deputies were dispatched to a report of a dead body found in a ditch at Duncan Road and Sweeney Road, according to Sheriff Daryl Forte'. Investigators determined it was a man's body. Independence Police CSI processed the scene.
Authorities released no additional details early Sunday.
