SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas teen on child sex allegations.
Just before 10:30p.m. Jan. 3, a deputy with the Shawnee County Sheriff's office responded to the Law Enforcement Center to assist Topeka Police with a child sex crime investigation, according to Sheriff's Lt. Scott Wanamaker.
Some of the alleged crimes occurred outside the city limits of Topeka in the 6700 Block of SW Windwood Lane in the unincorporated community of Montara. Deputies arrested 18-year-old Christopher M. Belk of Topeka on requested charges of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, according to Wanamaker.
