Kansas man caught transporting cocaine

OSAGE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.

Just after 9:31 p.m. Sept. 4, a Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on  U.S. 75, near Carbondale, for a traffic violation, according to Sheriff Chris Wells.

During the stop, illegal narcotics were located. The driver of the vehicle, Cirenio Martinez-Apolinar, 35, of Lyndon was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility on requested charges of  Possession of cocaine, Transporting an open container and No driver’s license.
