JOHNSON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating Kansas City Chiefs Wide Receiver Justyn Ross on felony allegations after an arrest on Monday.
According to online booking records, police arrested the 23-year-old Ross just before 3p.m. Monday in Shawnee, Kansas, on a requested charge of criminal damage of more than $25,000.
As of late Monday, the Chiefs had not released a statement on the arrest. Ross, from Phenix City, Alabama played college football at Clemson and is in his second NFL season, according to his bio on the team web site. He played Sunday in the win over the Los Angeles Chargers but did not catch a pass, according stats on the team web site.
