MONTGOMERY COUNTY —One person died in an accident just after 1:30a.m. Thursday in Montgomery County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2021 International semi driven by Jerald L. Bolia, 64, Newkirk, Oklahoma, was eastbound on U.S. 166 and failed to navigate the curve at U.S. 75 junction. The vehicle overturned.
Bolia was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Forensics Midwest. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
