KANSAS CITY —One person died from injuries in an accident just before 5p.m. Tuesday in Kansas City.
The driver of a blue Dodge Journey had just purchased the vehicle and pulled out onto Noland Road near East 49th Street, according to KCPD Police Captain Jake Becchina.
The driver realized she was going the wrong way and was in the process of turning around. The Dodge driver pulled back onto the roadway into the path of a black Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The Harley Davidson struck the Dodge in a T-bone fashion and both driver and passenger from the Harley Davidson were ejected.
Both were wearing a helmet and were transported to an area hospital. Injuries were initially thought to be non-life threatening; however, the driver of the Harley Davidson was pronounced dead not long after arriving at the hospital, according to Becchina. Police did not release the name of the victim late Tuesday.
