KANSAS CITY—One person died in an accident just before 6p.m. Friday in Kansas City.
A motorcycle was westbound on Parvin Road, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino, A car was eastbound and turning left onto Belmont Ave when the motorcycle struck the passenger front fender. The motorcyclist was ejected and transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased, according to DiMartino.
The driver of the car was uninjured and not impaired. The roadway was closed for approximately 2 hours. The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet, according to DiMartino.
This is fatality #52 compared to #47 at this time last year in KCMO.
