FORD COUNTY—A Kansas woman died in an accident just before 7p.m. Monday in Ford County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Dodge Ram driven by Dalton Kuhlman, 24, Dodge City, was southbound on 210 Road one half mile north of A Road.
The pickup traveled left of center and collided head-on with a northbound 2013 Ford Explorer driven by Juan Ramos-Ortiz, 25, Dodge City.
A passenger in the SUV identified as Angelina Perez-Velasquez, 21, Dodge City, was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to Beckwith Funeral Home.
EMS transported Kuhlman, Ramos-Ortiz and 2-year-old boy in the SUV to the hospital in Dodge City. Perez-Velasquez was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
