Suspect lit bottle of gas outside Kansas police substation

MANHATTAN—Law enforcement authorities are investigating criminal use of explosives and arson in Manhattan.

Just after 11:30p.m. Sunday, an unknown male suspect lit a tequila bottle full of gas and sugar on fire outside of the Riley County Police Department Aggieville Substation in the 1100 block of Moro Street in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report. 

The total estimated loss associated with this case is approximately $100. Anyone with information can contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers. Using the Crime Stoppers service can allow you to remain anonymous and could qualify you for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
