SEDGWICK COUNTY—One person died in an accident just after 8:30p.m. Tuesday in Sedgwick County.
According to Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office spokesman Branden Stitt, a Chevrolet Trax driven by 60-year-old Stephen Bradley Farmer of rural Mount Hope was westbound on 21st Street North at 247th Street West. The SUV traveled off the road, struck a field entrance and rolled several times. Farmer was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, according to Stitt.
Investigators do not suspect impairment as a factor in the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
