KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement are investigating another homicide in Kansas City.
Just before 2:30a.m. Tuesday, patrol officers were dispatched to 51st and Indiana on an ambulance in route call, according to KCPD Sergeant Phil DiMartino.
First responders located a man outside of a vehicle near the intersection. He appeared to be suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
This is being investigated as a homicide. Investigators are working to determine the events that led up to the shooting. Crime scene personnel were called to process the scene for any physical evidence and detectives are canvassing the area for potential witnesses.
