Covid-19 has ended the volleyball season for the Ellinwood Eagles. Ellinwood, who was ranked ninth in the latest KVCA rankings last week, found out Monday that they were being quarantined for the remainder of the volleyball season and that their season was over.
The Eagles posted a 31-5 record this season. The Central Prairie League Champions were the number 1 seed in this weekend's 2A Sub-State at Wakeeney.
Head Coach Greg Maxwell announced the season cancellation on Facebook saying informing his players about the decision was one of the most difficult days he has had as an educator and coach.
