Police asks for help with Aggieville incident that injured woman

RILEY COUNTY —The Riley County Police Department is actively investigating an incident that occurred near the Aggieville district in the early morning hours of Friday, August 30, in which a young woman sustained injuries.

The initial report received by police indicated the young woman was found in the 800 block of Laramie Street after walking home from a local establishment, according to a media release.

 Police are reviewing surveillance footage from Aggieville and surrounding areas and are following up on any leads to determine the cause of the woman's injuries. Police encourage anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
