Police: $10,000 in jewelry missing from Kansas hotel room

RILEY COUNTY —Law enforcement are investigating alleged theft in Manhattan. 

Just after 1p.m. Tuesday, officers filed a report of theft of property lost or mislaid in the 1600 block of Anderson Avenue in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department activity report.

A 57-year-old woman reported she left jewelry in a hotel room after checking out and the item is now missing. The total estimated loss associated with this case is $10,000.
