KANSAS CITY—A teen driver died after an accident just before 5a.m. Saturday in Jackson County, Missouri.
According to police, a Nissan Altima driven by 18-year-old Joshua Snowbarger was southbound on Noland Road, approaching 35th Street in Independence. The driver lost control of the car. It traveled off the road and struck a nearby business.
Officers on patrol found the crash just after it occurred. Despite lifesaving efforts, Snowbarger was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
