ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — The Los Angeles Dodgers have grabbed a two-games-to-one lead in the World Series. Walker Buehler allowed just three hits while striking out 10 over the six innings to help the Dodgers beat the Rays, 6-2. Buehler no-hit Tampa Bay until Manuel Margot (mahn-WEHL’ mahr-GOH’) and Willy Adames (ah-DAH’-mehs) doubled in the fifth. Justin Turner put the Dodgers ahead with a first-inning homer off Charlie Morton, who was tagged for five runs over 4 1/3 innings. Morton was attempting to tie Orlando Hernandez’s record of eight straight winning postseason decisions. Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena (ah-roh-zah-RAY’-nah) tied a single-year postseason record with his eighth home run, matching the mark shared by Barry Bonds, Carlos Beltran and Nelson Cruz Jr. Game 4 is tonight.

METAIRIE, La. (AP) — New Orleans Saints receiver Emmanuel Sanders has tested positive for COVID-19 and won’t play Sunday against Carolina. Saints coach Sean Payton says the Saints as a precaution tested about 20 people who might have been near Sanders and those tests were all negative. Sanders is coming off his best game this season with 12 catches for 122 yards in Week 5. The Saints will also be without receiver Michael Thomas for the fifth straight game because of a hamstring injury.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (AP) — Justin Thomas is the leader at the midway mark of the PGA’s Zozo Championship in California, one shot ahead of Dylan Frittelli and Lanto Griffin. Thomas fired his second consecutive 65 to get to 14 under through two rounds. Fritelli and Griffin kept pace with 65s. Defending Zozo champion Tiger Woods is 12 shots behind despite making eight birdies in his round of 66.

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Nathan Chen easily won the short program at Skate America with a personal best score. Performing to Flamenco music in a spicy routine, the two-time world gold medalist and four-time national champion looked very much at home even without any fans at Orleans Arena. He hit a quadruple toe loop-triple toe loop combination, a superb quad flip and showed off masterful footwork. His 111.17 points beat his short program high of 110.38 in last year’s Grand Prix final. Earlier, Mariah Bell and Bradie Tennell finished on top of the women’s short program.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Vikings say Matt Blair, one of the great linebackers in team history, has died. Blair had been suffering from dementia. The Star Tribune reported he died after a long stay in hospice. Drafted in the second round out of Iowa State in 1974, Blair played all 12 of his NFL seasons for the Vikings, from 1974 to 1985. He started 130 of the 160 regular-season games he played and had the second-most itackles n team history. Matt Blair was 70 years old.
