WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities released the name of the victim from the Monday homicide at N 18th Street and Longwood Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas.
The victim is 36-year-old Stephen David Bagley Jr., of Kansas City, Kansas, according to a statement from police.
Just after 6:30a.m. Monday, police were dispatched to N 18th St and Longwood Avenue in response to a reported shooting, according to. amedia release from Kansas City, Kansas Police.
Upon arrival the officers located Bagley with apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased on scene. At the time of the incident a USD 500/Kansas City, Kansas public school bus traveling in the area was inadvertently struck by gunfire. No students on the bus were injured. There is no suspect in custody at this time.
