SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a homicide in Topeka.
Just before 2:30a.m. Friday, police responded to a call for service regarding gunshots in the area of 3100 SW Westover Road, according to Police Lt. Jerry Monasmith. First responders found a man
and a woman with life-threatening gunshot injuries. The victims were transported to a local hospital by ambulance, where the man was pronounced deceased.
Police have released not released any suspect information or additional details including the name of the man who died.
