JACKSON COUNTY —Two people were injured in helicopter accident at Kansas City- Lee's Summit Regional Airport on Saturday.
Just after 10a.m., Lee's Summit Police and Fire to a report on an aircraft incident a the airport at 2740 NE Hagan Road in Lee's Summit, according to a media release.
First responders found a helicopter with three on board on its side. EMS transported two people to an area hospital. Authorities have not reported their condition or additional details.
As usual, FAA and NTSB will investigate the incident.
