Update: 2 dead, 1 critically injured in Kansas shooting

TOPEKA —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting that left two dead and have identified the victims  as Angelo D. Epps, 35, and Calvin E. Coleman Jr. 19, both of Topeka.

Just after 10 p.m. Monday, police responded to a report of multiple gun shots being fired in the 3800 block of SW South Park in Topeka, according to Lt. Kelvin Johnson.

Officers located three subjects suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

One victim was declared deceased at the scene. The second victim was transported to a local hospital where he died due to his injuries. The third individual was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. Police have not released the identity of the third victim or additional details.
