SALINE COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a domestic incident and have made an arest.

Just after 9p.m. September 6, police were dispatched to the Chapel Ridge Apartments, 2363 Chapel Ridge Place in Salina, in response to a domestic disturbance, according to Salina Police Captain James Feldman.

Officers made contact with 21-year-old Yesenia Buenrostro of Salina. She told officers that she got into an argument with the 22-year-old man who also lives in the apartment. Police determined from both parties that during this argument, Buenrostro pulled a. pocketknife and threatened the 22-year-old roommate.

Feldman said the argument began after Buenrostro allegedly discovered that she was missing an item, and said the 22-year-old victim was responsible.

Police arrested Buenrostro and booked her into the Saline County Jail on requested charges of aggravated assault.
