Kan. woman injured after dragged by her own rolling vehicle

SHAWNEE COUNTY—A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just after 11:30p.m. Saturday in Saturday.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2016 Toyota Corolla driven by Emily Annette Scott, 23, Topeka, was westbound on Interstate 70 just west of the I-470/I-335 interchange.  The car came to rest in a ditch. The driver exited the car and the vehicle began rolling backwards. The car door pulled driver  down and drug her until she was released from the vehicle.

EMS transported Scott to Stomont Vail in Topeka for treatment of serious injuries.
