WICHITA, KAN. – A para educator in Wichita has been sentenced to prison. Daniel Alonso-Hernandez, 34 of Wichita, admitted having sexual relations with two female high school students, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office.
In September, Alonso-Hernandez pled guilty to unlawful sexual relations and aggravated indecent liberties with a child. He was a para at South High School at the time.
On Tuesday, District Judge Eric Williams followed the Kansas Sentencing Guidelines and sentenced Alonso-Hernandez to 77 months in prison.
