SEWARD COUNTY—Law enforcement canceled an Amber Alert late Wednesday for 14-year-old Marisheila Luis De La Cruz, according to the Liberal Police Department. The teen was located by authorities in Texas and is safe.
Just before 7p.m. Wednesday, police reported De La Crus was seen at Mary Frame Park, 298 E Pancake Boulevard, in Liberal wearing a black shirt, blue jeans and pink sandals. Police reported she may have been abducted by a Hispanic male with black hair, a black shirt and black pants driving a black 2007 Tahoe with Texas tag TTJ8135.
A relative said they saw De La Cruz inside the Tahoe with a man they did not recognize and say she was screaming and crying.
Police have not reported an arrest or additional details.
