The Barton County Commission will not be meeting at the courthouse on Tuesday. Four of the five commissioners are attending the annual conference of the Kansas Association of Counties in Overland Park.
During the three-day event, Commissioners will be able to attend workshops that give them information about a number of topics including employee relations, emergency management, lobbying state government and the KPERS retirement system.
The Commission’s next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 26.
