KANSAS CITY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating after a child was critically injured in a fall from an apartment window.
Just after 10a.m. Monday, police responded to the Independence Towers Apartments in the 700 block of North Jennings Road, according to a social media report. A boy fell from the 8th story window.
EMS transported the child to a local hospital and he was later transferred to Children's Mercy. Police released no additional details.
