SEDGWICK COUNTY —There is now a $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the death of 67-year-old Loretta Moody of Wichita, according to Crime Stoppers of Wichita-Sedgwick County.

Law enforcement authorities continue investigating Moody's death after her body was found in a suitcase September 16, at Wichita Fire Station 22, 2659 S. Hydraulic in Wichita.
At approximately 6:25 p.m. , Wichita Fire Department personnel requested an urgent police response after two individuals arrived at the fire station with a suitcase and reported that a body was inside.
Officers responded and found Moody inside the suitcase. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her body was later transported to the Sedgwick County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The two individuals who brought the suitcase to the fire station were being interviewed by investigators. Detectives are working to determine how the woman and the individuals being interviewed are connected to one another.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding Moody’s death as a homicide. Investigators are continuing to interview individuals, review evidence, and work to establish a complete timeline of events. Police have not reported Moody's cause of death.
