The Barton Lady Cougar softball team wrapped up the regular season Saturday with a pair of losses at Independence.
The Lady Pirates took game one 8-6 and completed the sweep with a 7-3 victory in game two.
In having their four game winning streak snapped, Barton dropped to 11-15 in conference play and 17-25 overall. Independence closes the season with a record of 12-14 and 22-20.
The Region 6 tournament begins on Friday, May 7 at Legends Park in Dodge City.
