JEFFERSON COUNTY— Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas woman involved in an altercation with a sheriff's deputy.

Late Sunday, deputies at Lake Perry arrested a 19-year-old woman who was allegedly drunk, according to Sheriff Jeff Herrig.

Deputies put Secret Humphrey of Leavenworth in the patrol vehicle after she head butted one of them, according to Herrig. "When she was booked into jail early Monday, she also decided to spit on everyone," he said.

Humphrey is being held on a $50,000 bond on requested charges of  aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, causing great bodily harm; assault of a law enforcement officer; disorderly conduct; purchase, possession or consuming liquor by a minor 18 to 20 years of age; and interference on a law enforcement officer.
