KINGMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 1p.m. Saturday in Kingman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Chevy Cobalt driven by Coleton Shane Cummins, 18, Coats, was westbound on Kansas 42 just west of Spivey.
The vehicle dropped off the north edge of the roadway and the driver overcorrected. The vehicle slid across the roadway and into the south ditch, where it rolled over and came to rest sitting upright.
EMS transported Cummins to the hospital in Pratt. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
