TOPEKA — Governor Laura Kelly discussed the dramatic increase in coronavirus deaths in Kansas during her daily press conference. Kansas saw a 41 percent jump in coronavirus deaths Wednesday to 38, according to the KDHE.
The governor and KDHE Secretary Dr. Lee Norman also responded to the statement by the Kansas Attorney General who told police not to enforce the governor's order on religious gatherings and lawmakers who overturned the order restricting the size of religious gatherings amid the pandemic.
