2nd Kan. man jailed in threat to spread coronavirus to 11-year-old

SCOTT COUNTY –Law enforcement authorities are investigating a second man in connection with alleged criminal threat involving coronavirus in Scott County.

Just before 10:30 a.m. Thursday, police with the assistance of the Scott County Sheriff's Office arrested Dominic Daniel Edson, 19, with Conspiracy to commit terrorism, criminal threat and assault.

This arrest was due to his involvement at the incident on March 31, at Dollar General involving a man telling an 11-year-old girl he was going to give her corona and coughed in her face, according to Police Chief David Post.

Just before 11p.m.  Monday, officers arrested Chance Archie Seamans, 31, Scott City for Terrorism and Criminal Threat. 

 Edson and Seamans remain jailed in Scott County. Edson is being held on a bond of $100,000.
