SEDGWICK COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a homicide in Sedgwick County after a man in his 20s was found in a ditch.
The victim identified as 26-year-old Zackary Tilson was found in the 5500 Block of west 85th Street North near Valley Center on Friday morning, according to Lt. Tim Myers.
Authorities received a call about a vehicle parked in the road. Deputies found an unoccupied red Dodge pickup and the victim unresponsive in a nearby ditch. The Sedgwick County Fire Department pronounced the man dead at the scene. This is not a random incident, according to Myers.
