SALINE COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a burglary in Salina.
Between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday, someone stole guns from a residence in the 1000 block of South Santa Fe Avenue, according toSalina Police Captain Paul Forrester.
The weapons included a black Rock Island Armory 1911 9mm handgun, valued at $700, a black American Tactical GSG 1911 22 caliber handgun, valued at $35 and an American Firearms compact 22, valued at $100
The homeowner told police that when he returned home from work Wednesday, he noticed damage to his front door frame and a broken plexiglass window. He then found three empty gun cases on his bed, according to Forrester.
