2 Kansas women caught transporting meth

OSAGE COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating two suspects on drug allegations after a traffic stop.

Just after 3p.m. May 12, at 3:03 p.m., an Osage County Sheriff’s Office Investigator conducted a traffic stop at West 117th Street and South Auburn Road for a traffic violation, according to Sheriff Chris Wells. During the stop, illegal narcotics were located.

Two subjects were taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility. Tammy A. Banks, 61, of Burlingame is being held on requested charges of Possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Cortney F. Myers, 42, of Burlingame is jailed on requested charges that included Possession of methamphetamine and Possession of drug paraphernalia.
