ATCHISON COUNTY—Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on drug allegations. Just before midnight May 22, an officer on patrol observed a wanted suspect identified as 41-year-old Jason Nowak in the 900 block North 9th Street in Atchison, according to Police Chief Mike Wilson.
The officer took Nowak into custody on a Municipal Court warrant. Nowak was subsequently found in possession of fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.
He remains jailed on requested charges of possession of fentanyl, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a Municipal Court warrant for failure to appear in court.
