SEWARD COUNTY—A southwest Kansas school district is investigating and working around a computer hack.
On Sunday afternoon USD 480 Liberal reported they learned their computer network has been compromised.
In a statement on the district's social media page the district wrote, "We have taken the proper precautions and are working with authorities to address this situation. Because of this, we will see a disruption in our Wi-Fi and phones lines for the foreseeable future."
"We are working to resolve this in a safe and timely manner. We will keep you posted as we continue to address and monitor this situation."
