JEFFERSON COUNTY —A Kansas man died in an accident just after 11a.m. Thursday in Jefferson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2004 Buick LeSabre driven by F Ethan Wayne Fisher, 24, Holton, was eastbound on U.S. 24 approximately one mile east of the U.S. 59 Junction.
The car left the roadway to the right, entered the south ditch, rolled, struck a utility pole, caught fire and was fully engulfed.
Fisher was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Forensics. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
