MCPHERSON COUNTY —The City of Inman has received a report of a possible mountain lion sighting in the area of the Motocross & Country Park, 457 9th Avenue in the city of Inman.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to use extra caution in and around the area.
Google indicates that if you encounter a mountain lion:
Do not approach it or run.
Give the animal plenty of space.
Keep children and pets close.
Make yourself appear larger and slowly back away.
Report the sighting to the appropriate local authorities.
