KANSAS CITY —Authorities are working to determine the cause of a fire at a Kansas City-area apartment complex.
Just before 7p.m. Thursday, crews responded to the report of an apartment fire in the 4100 block of NE Davidson Road, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.
First responders found smoke showing from a three-story apartment building. Occupants were evacuating on arrival. The fire was placed under control just after 9p.m.
The KCMO Fire Department has requested Bomb and Arson to assist in the investigation. Two units on the third floor were displaced. Red Coss has been ordered for two adults in one unit, and one adult and one child for the second unit. No injuries were reported at this incident.
